Culturally-Informed Asian-Australian Psychologist in Melbourne
Meet Natcha
I'm Natcha - a Thai-born, Melbourne-raised psychologist with a passion for making mental health accessible to communities that have historically been underserved. I work with therapy clients one-on-one, and I bring that same depth of understanding to the workshops and talks I deliver for universities and organisations.
Ways of working together
Individual Therapy
Are you navigating anxiety, depression, or low mood alongside the invisible weight of cultural expectations, family pressure, or the feeling of being caught between two worlds? You deserve a space where you don't have to translate your culture or explain the concept of "saving face."
I offer a culturally-informed, evidence-based therapy for anyone whose identity spans more than one culture.
Speaking & Workshops for Organisations
Are you a university, student services team, or organisation looking for an engaging, evidence-based speaker on mental health in diverse communities? I deliver talks and workshops that go beyond statistics — grounded in lived experience, clinical expertise, and cultural nuance.
Topics include mental health in international and university students, the Asian-Australian experience, and culturally-safe care.
Therapy for Asian-Australians and International Students in Melbourne
My therapy clients often seek help with:
The "Between Two Worlds" : Managing the tension between traditional Asian family expectations and Western individualist values.
Intergenerational Trauma: Healing from the unspoken burdens and silent histories of immigrants and international students.
Mental Health & Mood: Support for those navigating anxiety, depression, and the heavy weight of burnout or persistent low mood, and many other conditions.
How I help: Culturally Responsive, Evidence-Based Therapy
We’ll work together using a blend of modern psychology and cultural sensitivity. My approach is practical, warm, and tailored to your lived experience:
CBT & ACT: To manage daily struggles and build a life aligned with your values
EMDR Therapy: To process past experiences and reduce the power of painful memories.
A Safe Space: A collaborative journey towards thriving in your own skin.
Mental Health Talks and Workshops
I also work with schools, universities, and organisations to deliver talks on mental health topics that are often overlooked in mainstream discussions.
